Where your study hours go
Weight your revision to the blueprint. If a domain is a fifth of the exam it deserves roughly a fifth of your time — not an even split across all seven. The bars below are the same weights, ranked, so you can see the gap between a 21% domain and a 5% one at a glance.

What should I study first for CRCST?
Start with the two heaviest domains that also have full guides here: Decontamination and Sterilization. Together they are roughly 42% of the exam, and decontamination is the logical first step — instruments are cleaned before they are sterilized, so the concepts build in that order.
